GEPINC Blueprint has progressed beyond a simple review of existing Gender Equality Plans by systematically identifying the limitations of current approaches regarding LGBTIQ+ inclusion and intersectionality. Building upon previous Horizon Europe and Horizon 2020 initiatives, the consortium has developed the foundations of an Inclusive Blueprint designed to complement existing GEP frameworks rather than replace them. The Blueprint provides practical guidance that can be adapted to different institutional contexts while maintaining a common European approach to inclusive Gender Equality Plans. GEPINC Blueprint focuses on effective actionable steps to make GEP more inclusive in the eight earmarked domains. The GEPINC Blueprint is structured into eight chapters, drawing on EIGE recommendations and, especially, taking into account the latest EU directive on GEPs: Governance and Decision-Making; Work-Life Balance and Organisational Culture; Gender-Based Violence including Sexual Harassment; Recruitment and Career Progression; Research; Teaching; Training; Data. For each chapter, a brief overview of the key issues at stake is followed by detailed recommendations and selected examples of good practices. The objective is to make GEPs more inclusive for all underrepresented gender groups. It also has several versions: one general version in English and seven country-specific versions, adapted to each partner’s specific context and language.
