Hi! 👋 My name is Georgina Cioffi and I'm 40 years old. I'm married with two girls: Felicitas (12) and Olivia (10). I started studying at UTN in 2014, a year after my youngest daughter was born. This year I'm attending four fourth-year subjects: Young Adult Literature, Estructuras Comparadas, Traducción and ICT.
I've been working as an English teacher for almost 20 years. I started teaching kinder kids and then moved to primary students. Now I'm teaching both primary and secondary students. I teach Language (1st form, 1st and 2nd years secondary school) and Literature in 4th and 5th secondary. I also teach online to private students: FCE, CAE, TOEFL and IELTS levels. Regarding my experience with Education technology, I think it's been getting better and better. I've learnt all types of content for my students: games, how to make presentations, vocabulary sets, grammar sheets, videos, etc. I expect to keep on learning and gaining more knowledge on how to profit from technology in the classroom. I'm sure I'll learn a lot. 😊
👉This image shows what technology means to me: a lot! We do almost everything using technology every day: communicate, teach, look for information, book a table and tickets, get appointments with doctors, buy whatever we want, play, listen to music, watch an episode of our favorite TV series, take down notes, read, and much more in an instantaneous way. I rely on technology and I'm open to keep on incorporating it.
