FOR STUDENTS & ALUMNI
We post a number of jobs in our weekly newsletter that is sent to our current students and alumni of the program. We also have a closed student-, alumni- and faculty-only LinkedIn page, including those that employers send to us directly. If you are not yet a part of the LinkedIn group, please request membership first in the SCS closed group and then in the Journalism one. If you have any questions about that, please contact the program director. Once you are in the group, you can see what is posted there, post job opportunities from your own workplaces and engage in discussions with fellow students, alums, and faculty.

Many professional journalist associations will also have job boards that are specific to the area that they cover. Oftentimes, you must be a member to get access to those job listings and other types of resources they provide. Beyond job tips, these associations can be a great way to network with other journalists and to keep refreshing your skills after you leave the program.
