About Me!

About me!

Hello! My name is Emma Robinson I grew up right outside of Portland, Maine where I learned to love kayaking, skiing, sailing, hiking, and surfing. In fact In the winter I teach skiing and in the summer I teach kayaking for a non-for profit called Rippleffect.

I'm a Junior at the University of Vermont where I am studying to complete a B.S in Geology. Geology and the natural world had always fascinated me and I hope to always work outside.

I've traveled all over North America doing a Month long backpacking trip in Alaska in 2016 and another month long backpacking trip in the Yukon in 2017.

In the Summer of 2019 I traveled to Iceland with UVM and Hamilton college where we did a two week intensive field course on glaciers and volcanoes.

I am taking this class because I love geology and am interested to learn about how landscapes and geologic formations came to be how we see them today.
