Camila

Research

With her classmate, Camila proposed their own research project in English, which received a R$1,200 grant, publishing an article and presenting in a university's symposium. She also participated in a research group in History. This work is a finalist in four scientific fairs and was selected for publication in an international journal, headed by top universities in Latin America and Europe. Now, she is dedicating herself to research in Astronomy, organizing a minicourse to prepare her peers for the Brazilian Astronomy Olympiad.

Student Leadership

In a school where all decisions are made collectively, Camila represented the voice of her peers in the Coluni Collegiate Council, majorly composed of teachers. As a student representative and a member of Coluni's Anti-racist Collective, she fought for quotas for underprivileged candidates in Coluni's admission exam, managing the debates with the faculty till unanimous approval. After, she was chosen to compose the Quotas Implementation Commission that formulated the model of the quotas. She was also elected for Coluni Student Government, committing herself to the community's needs.
