GenOrators is a team for the 2021 Advocacy & Communication Challenge of the 1000 Girls, 1000 Futures, a groundbreaking initiative of The New York Academy of Sciences designed to engage young women interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM), and advance their pursuit of STEM careers through mentoring and 21st-century skills development.

Ana Letícia Mendes is a Brazilian student, currently in 9th grade, She is from the state of Minas Gerais, and is passionate about robotics, technology, languages, education and STEM. Her hobbies are reading and traveling! She is the designer of the team.

Arbana, North Macedonia

Arbana Pasholli is the mentor of the team, she is also an MP at the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, a Psychologist with over 6 years of experience in the secondary education and is studying Master of Education in Advanced Teaching at University of the People. Her hobbies are yoga and meditation.

Camila is a Brazilian senior student and a young researcher, also from Minas Gerais. She's deeply engaged in leadership and activism initiatives, especially driven to democratize education. In STEM, what attracts her the most is any Space-related topic. Her hobby is definitely cooking!

Grace, United States

Grace Chenxin Liu is a student from New York, the United States. She is passionate and actively involved in research and has presented her research in multiple international and national conferences. Her current research interests are gender, history, finance, artificial intelligence, and sustainability issues. Her hobbies are painting, writing, reading, running, and much more! Her role in the team is the editor and record keeper.

Helena Scussel Rosa is a Brazilian high schooler. She is from the south of Brazil, in the state of Santa Catarina. Some things she likes the most are programming, design, art and books. In her free time, she usually draws or read administration and marketing books. She is the content manager of GenOrators.

Ishika De is a high school student based out of Bangalore, India. She is involved with numerous projects that aim to solve diverse social and environmental issues. Her main areas of interest are - biology, statistics, computer science, prototype design, technology, and sustainability. Her hobbies include sketching, reading, and singing! She is the current Team Lead.

Sanjana Taware is a student and researcher from California, United States. She is extremely passionate about bioengineering and advocacy especially concerning topics within public health. She also enjoys writing short stories and screenplays.

Shruthi Devarakonda is an eighth grader from New Jersey, US. She is extremely passionate about climate change, sustainability, and anthropology. Shruthi's hobbies including running, paying golf, researching, and cooking with her dad. Her role in the team is the editor.
