Some favourite artists to draw inspiration from

Now that we've covered some of the ethical issues involved, I'd like to introduce my key sources of inspiration so far. When I first told Egg that I felt excited about making generative art, they shared a handful of artists and virtual galleries that they've personally found inspiring. They're mostly relatively older sources, as Egg hasn't kept up much with the generative art landscape in recent years:
