About Us

The African Caribbean Student Association (ACSA) is a student-led club that strives to bring together students of African descent and those interested in African culture. It aims to provide a platform for members to share their experiences, learn from one another, and create a more inclusive environment on campus.The club is committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for all members to celebrate the diversity of the African community.

Club Values

The purpose of the African Caribbean Student Association at GC is Community building and awareness on cultural diversity on and around Guilford College. To shed light on the histories, cultures and ways of life, which our African students and communities possess and to highlight those aspects with our community at large. We will do this through an array of cultural activities and events that students at Guilford College can participate in and enjoy while learning about the diaspora. These goals are consistent with the Statement of Purpose of Guilford College.

Goals for the school year

The goal of the African student association is to create a platform for  students to come together, promote their  culture and heritage, foster a sense of community, We will strive to increase awareness of African /Caribbean 

culture and heritage on campus, and to build relationships between African/Caribbean, students and other members of the school community.
