Each new BMAH student must complete these steps to finalize their spot in the program.
1- Register with GBHS and provide two proofs of residency.
2- Complete a Google Form for class registration.
3- Complete Step up to BMAH class.
All families must complete the registration online, even those that live in the Glen Burnie High School cluster. Registration is done completely online.

The following documents are required for enrollment and must be uploaded. Be sure to have your documents saved and ready, in a .pdf or .jpg format, before you enter the portal as the portal will not accept incomplete registrations and you will have to re-enter all data fields. All documentation must be dated within the last 60 days. Online copies are accepted.
Current AACPS Students: You do not need to upload immunizations, transcripts, or birth certificates.

NON-AACPS Students: You will need to upload all requested documentation including birth certificate, immunization records, report card or transcript, parent/guardian government-issued ID, and any custody orders (if applicable).
One must be a mortgage statement, deed, or lease and one must be a utility bill showing your current address.
Option A (Own/Rent/Lease) Documents accepted by those who own or lease a residence include:
A mortgage document issued within 60 calendar days, deed, valid rental agreement, military housing lease.
Option B: Documents accepted by those who live in a residence owned or leased by an individual or family include:
A notarized Tenant Resident Verification Form (TRV) (Español).
AND… One of the items listed below:
Utility bill/cable bill or work order issued by the utility or cable company.
Bank statement.
W-2 Form or Form 1099 issued the previous year.
Pay stub.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License.
Any government-issued documentation, such as:
Social Security check.
Domestic relations (child support).
Department of Social Services Food Stamps or Community Medical Assistance letter.
Unemployment award.
PPW verification form verifying residence after a home visit.
All students will be automatically enrolled in the following classes, as required by the BMAH program of study.
Honors English 9
Honors Biology
Honors US History or AP US History
Math (Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2)
Principles of Bioscience (PBS)
Fitness for Life, Fine Art (Chorus, Dance, Art, Band), AVID
Honors Introduction to Engineering Design (IED- Tech Ed Requirement)
Foreign Language
STEP UP TO BMAH Summer Camp will be held each week in July at Severn Run High School. AACPS is not providing transportation to/from summer camp locations.

In addition, all incoming freshmen who are currently enrolled in Math 8, must complete an Applied Math Skills program as referenced in the magnet student agreement:
High School STEM/BMAH magnet applicants who are accepted into any of the three STEM high school magnet programs and have yet to take Algebra I in middle school must enroll in a virtual Applied Math Skills course. More information will be coming out about this requirement.
