HOSA–Future Health Professionals is an international student organization dedicated to preparing the next generation of leaders in health, medicine, and allied health careers. With over 260,000 members worldwide, HOSA gives students the chance to explore real healthcare fields, compete academically, and build the professional skills needed to thrive in today’s medical world.
HOSA is more than a club—it’s a pathway to college, careers, and leadership. Students gain:
Explore nursing, medicine, public health, biomedical science, emergency care, pharmacy, and dozens of other fields
Attend conferences, visit hospitals and simulation labs, and meet healthcare professionals
Learn skills like vital signs, first aid, infection control, teamwork, and medical ethics
HOSA competitions are nationally recognized and look impressive on college and scholarship applications. Students can compete in:
Medical events (Medical Terminology, Human Growth & Development, Medical Math)
Team skills events (CPR/First Aid, EMT, Biomedical Debate)
Health professions events (Nursing Assisting, Physical Therapy, Biomedical Laboratory Science)
Public health & leadership events (Health Career Display, PSA, Prepared Speaking)
Participation shows colleges you’re dedicated, motivated, and ready for the demands of a health career.
HOSA members grow strong leadership skills by:
Running chapter, state, or national offices
Organizing community service projects
Leading awareness campaigns in public health and wellness
These experiences help students build confidence, communication skills, and a strong professional network.
Being a HOSA member helps students:
Build a powerful résumé and portfolio
Gain early exposure to health careers
Receive scholarship opportunities exclusive to HOSA members
Connect with professionals and organizations across Maryland and the nation
If you’re curious about medicine, passionate about helping others, or excited to grow as a leader, HOSA is the perfect place for you. You’ll learn real skills, compete, travel, serve your community, and join a national movement of future health leaders.
Join HOSA—where future health professionals begin their journey.
The Anatomage Table is one of the most advanced, life-sized 3D virtual dissection tools used in medical schools, surgical programs, and research labs around the world. Think of it as a digital cadaver lab—you can rotate full human bodies, isolate organs, explore systems layer-by-layer, view real CT/MRI scans, and practice clinical problem-solving through interactive case studies. It’s the closest you can get to real clinical anatomy without stepping into a surgical suite.
Our BMAH Anatomage Club turns this powerful tool into an exciting, hands-on learning experience. Students learn to:
Identify anatomical structures with precision across all major body systems
Trace diseases and injuries by exploring real patient imaging
Practice diagnostic reasoning through interactive clinical cases
Master 3D modeling and system navigation, just like medical students
Build teamwork and communication skills essential for health careers
Students train with Anatomage-certified modules, competitive challenge sets, and past tournament content so they’re ready to shine. Preparation includes:
Weekly skill-building sessions on anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging
Timed practice rounds that simulate competition pacing
Team strategy workshops to build speed, accuracy, and confidence
Mini-tournaments where you can test your knowledge
Coaching from BMAH staff who bring real medical and bioscience expertise
By the time competition season arrives, students are prepared to identify hundreds of structures, explain their functions, analyze clinical cases, and work collaboratively under pressure.
You’ll gain college-level anatomy knowledge, boost your confidence for future health pathways, and represent BMAH in a unique, high-tech competition that very few high school students ever experience.
If you’re excited by medicine, surgery, bioengineering, diagnostics—or just love a good challenge—the Anatomage Club is for YOU.
Members of BMAH Council work closely with BMAH Leadership to promote, recruit, and bring new opportunities to students and the community. BMAH Council members are recruited in May for the upcoming year.
