Gateway to Early Learning is dedicated to transparency and strong relationships with families. Our program utilizes Playground, a childcare software app that streamlines billing, communication, day to day activity notifications, and center wide announcements.
Parents are always welcome to connect in person with their child's teacher in regards to progress, academic questions, or day to day needs.
If parents have questions, concerns, or ideas for the program itself, we ask that you please direct these communications to either Sammi or Danielle to allow the most accurate information to be presented.
Parent Teacher Conferences are offered twice per year, following the second assessment of the year and the third assessment of the year. These conferences are optional, however we encourage parents to take advantage of these one on one conferences to ensure you have the best understanding of where your child is academically, socially, emotionally, and developmentally.
Communication allows our program to fully collaborate with our families. The goal when enrolling your child in Gateway to Early Learning is not only to secure care for your child, but to also set them up for academic success in the future. This process can take shape when communication is consistent, respectful, and intentional. Mistakes can be made on both sides, however, the goal is to always collaborate heavily to ensure that learning occurs as a result of mistakes and progress can be made to benefit the child, the family, and the program.
Gateway to Early Learning takes pride in building strong and supportive relationships with our students. We are with your child for long days, often for years during their early childhood years. We take the opportunity to connect with each child seriously, and we take the time to build trust, safety, and respect with each and every student.
Relationship building is also prioritized with our families. Without our families, we would not have a strong program. Being a Non Profit 501(c)(3) childcare and early childhood education program, we take pride in creating opportunities for our families to drive change, advocate, and participate in making our program better with each passing year. We understand that getting to know each of our parents will create healthier opportunities to address each child's needs effectively and proactively during their time within our program. Each member of our staff is committed to supporting our parents in the season of early childhood, priding ourselves on staying up to date on relevant studies, practice, and education strategies.
