Tuesday Art Group

We have been a local Art Group for nearly twenty years.  It was founded by an artist in Nocton who originally held the group in his kitchen.  As the Art Group grew in numbers we moved to the village hall in Nocton.  The Art Group has been part of the local community providing inspiration for  Nocton Village Trail and a mosaic path created for Nocton Church to name but a few of the projects with assistance from the Arts Council.  The founder member of the Art Group has now retired.  His wish was for the Art Group to continue.   The members, who are enthusiastic amateurs, come from the surrounding area.  We enjoy meeting together to share our knowledge and skills.  We welcome anyone who is interested in art to join our group.  Some of our projects include Silk Painting, Linocut Printing, Glass Painting and Encaustic Art.  We are keen to look at different areas of art to widen our horizons.

The Thomas Garrett Rooms provides our group with light, space, and very good parking facilities.
