In this unit I learnt how to:
A. understand the applications and features of digital graphic products
B. design digital graphic products
C. create, test and review digital graphic products.
In this unit, we learnt how to use photoshop effectively. We learnt how to get rid of blemishes and to recolour a black and white photo. We have learnt the clone tool. For the first assignment, we were asked to review two posters discussing whether they are fit for purpose and how they effect the audience. I have learnt how to design and create a digital graphics for advertisement purposes and then review and evaluate what I have completed.
This is some of the class work created as I learn the fundamentals of photoshop.
This is for assignment 1, in this unit. I had to review two posters, explaining their purpose, the effects on the audience and strengths and weaknesses. I was graded distinction.
These are some of the notes I have made to help me, in the future, and for the last assignment.
I have achieved distinction for this unit. I had to create 2 posters (one bitmap and one vector) and then review them. Stating any constraints and improvements. Also, I received feedback and used the feedback to improve the posters. I also justified my designs. To create the posters, I used all the techniques and skills learnt from what I was taught.
