Withdrawal and Refund Policy
Dear [WHYUS],
Thank you for entering into a contract with our company for the use of paid services. Members who have entered into a purchase agreement and have access to paid game services may withdraw from the contract without any additional charges or penalties within 7 days from the later of the purchase contract date and the availability date of the paid game service.
1. Eligibility for Withdrawal:
Withdrawal can be requested within 7 days from the later of the purchase contract date and the availability date of the paid game service.
No withdrawal is allowed if the member falls under any of the following circumstances:
The goods are lost or damaged due to the member's fault.
The member has used or partially consumed the goods. Immediate usage upon purchase, consumption of additional benefits in bundled content, considering the act of opening as usage, or expiration of the withdrawal period are all considered usage.
2. Provision of Content:
If the provision of content has commenced, withdrawal is not applicable, except for cases where the contract consists of partially provided content.
3. Notification of Non-Withdrawal:
The company must clearly inform the member of the inability to withdraw, as per the provisions of subsections 2.2 to 2.3, through the packaging or other easily accessible means.
4. Request for Withdrawal:
Users can request withdrawal or a refund through oral or written (including electronic documents) communication, and the company may request additional evidence after confirming the purchase details for the refund of the purchase amount.
5. Refund Costs:
In cases where the cause of withdrawal or refund is due to the company's service termination or the company's responsibility, the company bears the cost of the refund of the purchase amount. However, the company deducts the benefits obtained by the user through premium service usage and the commission associated with the refund, except in such cases.
6. Refund Processing:
Upon receipt of the user's intention to withdraw, the company processes the refund within 3 business days from the date of the company's response. If a refund is not possible, the user will be notified in advance. In the case of payment methods that require payment confirmation, the refund will be made within 3 business days from the payment confirmation date.
7. Minor Users:
In the case of a minor entering into a purchase agreement for paid services on a mobile device, the company notifies that the minor or the legal representative may cancel the contract without the legal representative's consent. However, if a minor purchases a service with the consent of the legal representative or uses deceptive means to make themselves appear as an adult, the cancellation is not allowed.
8. Determining Minor Status:
The status of being a minor is determined based on the mobile device where the payment is processed, information about the payment executor, and the name of the payee for the payment method. The company may request submission of documents proving the status of a minor and legal representative for the purpose of confirming a legitimate cancellation.
