Prepare a Line Dance lesson, practice the steps, teach a class
Gather line dances and arrange in a lesson. Plan the order. Adjust the speed of a song. Mark where in the song to make the first step. Mark how much of the song to skip in the beginning. Mark where to end the song. Mark a part of the song to repeat or skip.
On the day of the class, bring up the line dances you plan to teach, play the song and review the steps.
Before the class starts, play the songs in the background.
During the class, practice some steps with the song slowed down. Jump to a part of the song to begin again.
While performing dance 1, gradually speed up as the class knows what to do.
While finishing up dance 1, view the other dances in the lesson to pick the next one, review the step sheet.
When dance 1 is done, jump to the next one, play the music and show how to perform.
