INTRODUCTION:
We now more to the fourth-largest civilization of the world, the civilization of if we were to treat ‘local religions as special care because it reflects a class of religion rather than a single religious tradition, the civilization of Hinduism is the oldest listing civilization described in the Barometer. The next section will be devoted to Buddhism which emerged from within the civilization of Hinduism. The two thus share a common root, somewhat comparable to Christianity and Islam sharing a common Abrahamic religion root.
HINDUISM IS A REGIONALLY CONCENTRATED GLOBAL CIVILIZATIONAL
The regional concentration of Hinduism as a civilization shows up in the very foundational empirical information below. As the oldest civilization listed in the Barometer, its adherents can be found across all territories of the globe, and yet the concentration in the Indian sub-continent is undeniable.

SEGMENTATION IN HINDU CIVILIZATION
The concept of Segmentation in the global Hindu civilization may be very different from the three civilizations discussed earlier. By all accounts, the Hindu civilization comprises a social order based on managing an intricately complex system of segmentation. It begins will segmentation rather than resulting in it, as was the case in the three civilizations of Christianity, Islam and Atheism.
For the purposes of we Global Barometer, any segmentation analysis of the kind pursued by three universal civilizations may not be relevant for both Hinduism and Buddhism. The regional segmentation is nevertheless, relevant and will be pursued for Buddhism as well as ‘Local Religions’.
