Fusion 360 tutorial's

Introduction

This site contains and links to resources to help you build Autocad Fusion360 skills.

For each step in the lego brick tutorial, read the text, watch the video, then attempt the task. Make sure you match the orientation of objects drawn in the demos to ensure all the dimensions in the instructions match up with your models!

Once you've got the hang of these basics, the best way to learn is to practice modelling items you see around you or designing your own.

Work through these tutorials. Wherever possible there is a video linked showing the full process of the build that you can review before you get started.

1. Modelling a lego brick - repeating patterns, shelling, etched text etc. (adapted entirely from a youtube video from this channel by BoundlessMaking - the actual video is linked at the top of the tutorial).

• Lars Christensen's YouTube Channel - Excellent tutorial videos, the beginners 3 video series, starting here: Part 1 - Absolute beginners is great. The work he does on assemblies is very useful and there are a lot of best practices covered.
• The University of Warwick's "Engaging young learners in CAD and 3d printing" series of tutorials - here. I'd skip most of the earlier tutorials if you've already done the lego brick and fan and go straight to the skyscraper game right at the bottom of the page.
