We completely understand that you as parents must make a very conscious decision that will bring success to your son life. We realize the decision you all must make can always not be as clear cut. However, education is important and so is leadership. We hope you see the value in this organization and how your son can benefit from the experience at Fundamental Prep Academy. As you all may have question, hope this page answer some of the most frequently asked questions about Fundamental Prep Academy Admission. Please feel free to call the Admission office at any time. You may have questions but we would like to honor an opportunity to speak with you and build a some kind of rapport.
Q. How can I apply to Fundamental Prep Academy?
A. Here are the ways to apply to Fundamental Prep Academy:
1) Mail your completed application to the Admission Office along with recommendation forms should be sent directly from those persons making the recommendations. To request application email fundamentalsforsuccess@gmail.com.
2) Call the Admission Office to receive an application or to schedule an on-campus interview at (864).808.0161.
Q. Is there a deadline to apply to Fundamental Prep Academy?
A. Fundamental Prep Academy does not have open enrollment process but only seasonal. However, our acceptance is based on need abilities. We operate under a “rotation operation system” admission policy. Applications are accepted throughout the year–although the academic calendar necessarily indicates the most ideal times for enrollment, which are prior to the beginning of the academic year in August. We have not yet decided on spring enrollment or advancing with more students.
Q. How do I schedule an on-campus interview/tour?
A. Contact our Admission Office – we conduct interviews/tours Monday through Thursday between 10 am and 2:30pm.
Q. When will I be notified if my child is accepted?
A. The student will be notified once all admission paperwork has been received. The applicant will have to participated in an interview. Decisions are made within a few weeks with review of a completed application.
Q. Does Fundamental Prep Academy offer Financial Aid?
A. Fundamental Prep Academy does not accept financial aid. However, we do plan On trying to offer scholarship soon.
Q. How many students are enrolled at Fundamentals Prep Academy?
A. Fundamental Prep Academy enrolls approximately less than 12 students each year. Our small enrollment is purposeful. Students at Fundamental Prep Academy are afforded the opportunity of being able to focus in our small class size and receive personalized attention to improve student success.
Q. Is Fundamental Prep Academy a diverse school?
A. Yes, Our student population aims to be diverse in age, race, and religion, etc.. With us being new we are actively looking to improve in our diversity.
Q. What do students do on the weekends?
A. Students are involved in socials, off-campus trips, and various special activities scheduled throughout the year.
Q. Are students required to wear school uniforms?
A. Yes, during the academic day students are required to adhere to “school dress code,” consisting of black or khaki pants/slacks or shorts, polo shirts (Grey, Black, Green, White) with grey vest or grey sweater. Students are required to have these uniforms purchase a uniform clothing package comprised of many items and wear the items of their choice each day. Students wear their own “relaxed” clothing (e.g., jeans, sweats, and t-shirts) during non-academic hours. When traveling to games students-athletes are required to wear team gear. All school uniform items (including shoes and a winter coat) are purchased through the academy’s admission process and are disbursed on campus during orientation.
Q. Is there a mandatory study hall?
A. All students are required to be at study hall after lunch during school hours every day and after practice at community library three days a week between 5pm-7pm.
