FLGs are unit-level language objectives. They are 2 - 3 broad language goals derived from unpacking the academic language demands and key academic practices of the content standards. Daily language objectives are created from the FLGs that follow a logical sequence that builds student-capacity to meet the broader language goals of the unit.
