Hello ~ I am Megan Quinlan, and you can call me Megan or Meg. When not at work, you can find me on a tennis court, watching ice hockey, doing yoga, cooking, or maybe doing a puzzle.
I've been in Framingham for twenty five years working in several capacities: ESL Teacher, Curriculum Coordinator, ESL/Bilingual Department Chair, and now ELD Coach. Several years ago, I took a two-year leave of absence to teach in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two years which was a terrific learning experience.
ELD stands for English Language Development, so our student-centered coaching/collaboration will be through a language lens supporting Emergent Bilinguals, Former English Learners, and all of our academic language learners to meet the student learning goals that we set for them. Let's make this a great school year!
What IS Student-Centered Coaching?
Student-centered coaching is about partnerships where instructional coaches and teachers work together to reach their goals for student learning. The focus is on using data and student work to analyze progress and collaboration to make informed decisions about instruction.
