Featured Project: This project was an old reattaining wall that ran approximately 80 feet along the property from a column out on Central Ave to the entrance walls of the residence. It was leaning and was in a very deteriorated state. The original wall was just placed on soil with no reinforcement, no footer and had no provisions to relieve water build up on the high earth side. This wall was removed, and the new footer was excavated and poured. Vertical and horizontal rebar reinforcement was added. The new wall was run at the same height and connected the existing house entrance walls to the original column location on the street side. A 2'X3 French drain was added along the entire earth side of the wall sloping to drain towards the street. The wall was then stucco finished and was painted weeks after completion to allow for proper drying of the stucco.
