FROGGY'S DEW RESUME

First guess: Strawberry Dum Dums.

There are a lot of things I love about October. One of them, of course, is Mountain Dew VooDew, and this year’s VooDew is excellent.

The mystery flavor hasn’t been revealed yet, but I’ve been reading the various theories floating around the Internet. I’m seeing a lot of Starburst and Skittles guesses, which seem highly improbable since both of those have already been VooDew flavors in the past. (I’m rolling my eyes at Skittles in particular, since there are always people who cry Skittles literally every single year.)

There is one thing we all seem to agree on though: It’s definitely a strawberry candy.

It’s not sour or tangy like some of the previous VooDews have been, so I think that rules out candies like Nerds and Sweet Tarts. Whatever it is though, it’s absolutely delicious. I usually prefer the sour ones, but I would still rank this one in my top three VooDews.

So, what’s my guess? I’m going with strawberry Dum Dums, but I’m not super confident about it. Laz suggested Laffy Taffy, which also feels plausible to me.
