The Park

Humber Bay Park East (HBPE), a larger, more complex, and rustic area than its western component, has winding trails and exudes a sense of tranquility. In spite of being in the city with a concrete wall of condos to its north, visitors have the feeling of being in the great outdoors. The interior ponds are home to the Metro Marine Modellers who race their model boats in the summer.

Humber Bay Park West (HBPW), a sedate water park, generally accessible by car, offers visitors the experience of broad areas of grassy space, paved trails for walkers, elegant sailing clubs, an off-leash dog park, and expanses of shoreline for play and relaxation as a getaway from everyday city life.  A popular farmers market is held in HBPW in May to October.

Humber Bay Shores Park (HBS), a shoreline park accessible by walking, bicycle, public-transit, and car, offers grassy space, paved trails for walkers and cyclists. Also of note is the HBS  inland walkway,  sporting eateries  for culinary pleasure , cafés and patios for meeting friends and chit chat, an artist studio, and local waterfront shopping opportunities.
