Hardware Setups
If only using the scoreboard and game control, a simple tournament style setup can easily be run off of a laptop that is connected to an output screen. Use the extended screen option.
A mini-PC with dual screen outputs can also be used in the same way as a laptop setup. Just make sure it can handle more than one monitor.
This software can be used for full gym setups and permanent installations as well.
If the computer running it (laptop, mini PC, or full PC) as the ability to output to 4 different screens, all parts of the software suite can be used.
For the shot clocks, mount them in either portrait or landscape mode and use a wireless HDMI transmitter
Although game controls can be done through the mouse, a screen tablet makes things much easier. Particularly I recommend the Wacom ONE screen.
To Run the Setup:
Install FreeScore.
Connect the PC to a TV/projector/display.
Configure the setup for "Extended Screens"
Open the scoreboard software.
Set up the game parameters (timings, periods, lengths, fouls, teams).
Run the game.
Export the game statistics afterward.
