FreeScore is professional basketball scoreboard software for Windows PCs. Use a standard computer or laptop with a TV, monitor, projector, or large display to create a digital basketball scoreboard for games, practices, tournaments, schools, clubs, and community gyms.

FreeScore gives your scorekeeper complete control over the game while displaying a professional scoreboard for spectators. The software includes game scoring and timing, team and player statistics, a shot clock, customizable display options, hotkeys, and game-log exports.

FreeScore is designed to provide the features of a professional basketball scoreboard system with no fees, expensive hardware, subscriptions, or advertising.

It can run offline on a Windows PC, making it suitable for portable setups as well as permanent gym installations.

There are 4 different windows in the software suite that get projected to separate screens.

1. Main scoreboard window. This is what the crowd sees, and it has a classic sports scoreboard look.  You can present it to the crowd on a jumbotron, Projector, Monitor or TV.

2. Game-control window. This is the background screen where all points, timing, and game actions are controlled. This is only seen by the scorekeeper.

3. Statistics tracking window. Team statistics, personal points and fouls, and other trackable components can all be logged through this window.  It is an optional window that can be activated and used if you have a statistician.

4. Shot clock window. This is an optional window that can be activated when a Shotclock is needed
