Survey
Survey
To gain a better perspective of my community, I conducted a survey which included various questions. The survey itself is under “Survey Instrument”. This survey was given to all three IT classes at my previous highschool, which was the community I wished to make a difference in. To distribute this survey, I had Mrs. P, the teacher of these classes, give it to the students to fill out. In the end, 38 students from three IT classes answered this survey with varying responses, which would help determine my project down the line. During the creation of this survey, I had just discovered what I potentially wanted to do with my project. Therefore, I changed the course of my survey and asked more narrow questions towards the end. I began with more general questions as a guide into these more focused questions. Looking back, I definitely feel as though I asked a few too many questions which could have been condensed to improve the experience of taking this survey. With this hindsight, this factor is something I improved on with the final survey that students took after I presented my project.
The results of the various survey questions I posed are present in the “Survey Results” tab. These results from my community were very interesting and I believe they lead to a better overall project in the end.
