Research Report
My Research Report, titled “Demonstrating The Importance And Potential of Slideshow Presentations To Students in High School” encompasses all of the important development parts of my project. The different sections, “Introduction”, “Literature Review”, “Methods”, “Results”, “The Project”, “Discussion”, and “Conclusion” all fulfill a specific purpose. First, the “Introduction” establishes the building ideas and reasoning for the specific project I chose to pursue. Second, the “Literature Review” is a summary of the six sources I researched that aided in the development of my project. Third, is the “Methods” section, which holds the Introduction to The Survey and the Introduction to The Interview that introduce each instrument's purpose and the questions I posed. Fourth, is the “Results” section, where the Results For The Survey and Results For The Interview are presented and analyzed in detail. Fifth, the “The Project” is an in-depth summary and description of the different aspects of the actual slideshow presentation project I developed. Sixth, the “Discussion” reviews the process of implementing my project into the three IT classes at my previous high school. Seventh, the “Conclusion” which being the last part, ties everything together and summarizes my journey of creating a project that produced meaningful change in my community.
Comparing my final research report to the draft I produced, I made a few important changes based on the feedback I received. The majority of changes I made were to improve the readability and accordance with the writing format of MLA. Specific things like the proper font format for titles and adding brakes to long paragraphs greatly improved my research report. I also added images/figures that strongly improves the data's ability to be understood by the reader.
