Literature Review
Literature Review
The goal of my “Literature Review” was to find specific sources in order to develop a better understanding of my topic. This process was able to lead to a better overall project due to the sources and information I gathered. I found six different sources which varied in topics, but all connected back to the idea of slideshow presentations, aka Powerpoints. The sources I found certainly provided a lot of very useful information about different aspects of my topic. I learned useful information to create effective slideshows, information about the software I plan to use, historical information that relates to the present, better oral presentation skills, and finally knowing the pros and cons of slideshows. At the time of writing this, I had begun laying out the details of my project.
When comparing the “Draft” of my literature review to the “Final”, there are a few differences. I had never written a literature review before, so I took all of the feedback I was provided into consideration. When considering this feedback, I understood how I could improve the format and effectiveness of my paper. In some places I went into too much detail in some of the summaries for my sources. As well as this I fixed some of the errors I made involving the writing format I used, which was MLA.
