Our team is composed of smaller groups that are involved in specific part of the robotics team. Whether that be the technical side of building, programming or designing the robot to the non-technical aspects of competition strategy, creating team promotional media or participating in community outreach. There is something for everyone!

Our team has seven sub-teams; Build, Design and CAD, Electronics, Programming, Media, Strategy, Community, and Outreach. You can learn more about them individually and how to get involved on their dedicated pages on this site.

All the sub-teams have at least one interaction with another sub-team. The technical sub-teams work closely with each other to construct a robot. The media sub-team works to all the sub-teams to create team promotional material. The diagram above shows the common interaction between the sub-teams, like gears they rotate each other. For example, the gears connected to programming are design and CAD and electronics because these sub-teams work together with programming to ensure that the robot can be coded to accomplished the required tasks.

Of course you can! We encourage that you join multiple sub-teams as they can be interdependent. For example, if you are interested in Design and CAD, you could also be part of Strategy as theses sub-teams work closely to create a robot that can be as competitive as possible. Or if you prefer editing videos, you can join both Media and Outreach to better understand the community outreach we are doing.
