We are excited to announce that the Franklin Variety Show is back! This event gives students in grades 3 through 5 an opportunity to showcase their talents and perform for their peers and families. Whether students love to sing, dance, tell jokes, perform magic tricks, play an instrument, juggle, act out a skit, or demonstrate another creative talent, this is their chance to take the stage.

Timeline & Key Deadlines

• Audition Video Submissions Due: Wednesday, April 1st @ 5 PM

• Official Performer Registration & Ticket Information Sent: March 14th

• Program Ad Sales Window: March 19-April 3rd

• Daytime School Show ("Dress Rehearsal"): Tuesday, April 28 @ 9am

• Evening Family Show: Wednesday, April 29th @ 6:30 PM

How to Participate

Any 3rd–5th grade student interested in performing must submit a video audition of their act by Wednesday, April 1st at 5:00 PM.

• Video submissions should be no longer than 90 seconds.

• Acts may be solo or group performances.

To submit an audition:

1. Email the video to NAFranklinPTO@gmail.com

2. Include the child’s name and grade in the subject line

Guidelines for Acts

• Performance length must be 90 seconds or less.

• All acts must be school-appropriate in music, costumes, and language.

• If a student is performing with a recorded track, it must be instrumental or have minimal background vocals to ensure their performance is heard clearly.

• All recorded tracks must be submitted in advance if needed for the performance.

• Group performances are welcome, but all participants must be listed in the audition submission.

• Students must provide their own props and any special equipment needed for their performance.

• A microphone will be available, but additional sound needs should be communicated in advance.

Ticket Information

• Each participating student will receive two complimentary tickets for the evening show.

• Additional tickets can be purchased for $5 each.

• Ticket information will be sent once your child’s audition video is submitted and they are officially registered to perform.

The Franklin Variety Show is a wonderful opportunity for students to build confidence, express themselves, and celebrate their unique talents. We look forward to an amazing show and hope to see many students participate!
