Katie's daughter Lyla is a 4th grader in Mrs. Guarente's class and her son Logan is starting Kindergarten at the ABECC with Mrs. Afarian. This is second first year with the PTO after serving a year as Co-VP. Growing up she saw her mom, a recently retired teacher, give so much of herself and her talents to her school and her students in the school she was lucky enough to also attend. She hopes to be a part of that tradition in some small way too. 

She'd like to use her creativity and enthusiasm to help support events and how our faculty, staff, and students how much we care about them! 

More to help you get to know Katie: "I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Registered Art Therapist, part of a local group practice and work in the Psychology Department at Merrimack College. I love using my free time to go hiking with my family, work on art projects with my kids and create homemade gifts for people in my life."

Belinda's son Asher is in 4th grade with Ms. Trainor. It is her third year on the PTO, second year as Co-President, after serving as Co-Social Media Director two years ago. She joined the PTO to meet other parents, get to know teachers and staff, and lend a hand with events to help the school and bring the school community together. 

This year Belinda hopes to foster a sense of community with the Franklin families through various volunteer opportunities with goal of maintaining the atmosphere of inclusivity that Franklin is known for. 

More to help you get to know Belinda: "I work part time as a childcare provider and full time Hockey Mom. My family and I like to hike, camp, backpack, fish, and love adventure sports. I love to entertain, enjoy a nice glass of wine, love going to concerts and am a huge music fan."

Whitney's son Theo is in 2nd grade with Mrs. Espinola. Her son Cole is currently in Kindergarten at the ABECC with Mrs. Poldoian. This is her first year with the PTO but she was an active volunteer at many PTO events last year! Whitney's dad was active in the PTO when she was growing up and it always stood out to her. She wanted to do the same for her kids and is thankful have the flexibility to be able to help.

She hopes to improve the engagement in the Franklin Community.

Keri's daughter Corine is in 2nd Grade and in Mrs. Neeley's class this year. Her son Kai is currently in Kindergarten at the ABECC. This is her first year with the PTO and she was inspired to join after helping with the Book Fair last year. She loved seeing the great kids and staff at the school and wanted to get more involved. She feels like there is nothing better than seeing kids thrive in their community. 

She hopes to reach out to more people who thought they wouldn't get involved PTO with the understanding that there is a lot that can be done if we pitch in just a little bit! 

More to help you get to know Keri: "After moving out from the Midwest and learning what a rotary was, I started working at Raytheon. Currently I am an Associate Director of Software Engineering for the Patriot Missile program. I spend a lot of time in Maine at the lake enjoying fishing and canoeing."

Jenny's daughter Adelyn is in 3rd grade with Ms. Scott and her daughter Astrid is in 1st grade with Ms. Hamway. This is her first year with the PTO. Jenny served on the Board of her daughters' preschool and found it to be a great way to give back and connect with the other families. She is looking forward to doing the same by being part of the Franklin PTO.

Jenny hopes to help plan fun events that connect more Franklin families and raise funds for the school.

More to help you get to know Jenny: "I work part time in interior design, and occasionally substitute teach at Franklin School and Community Cooperative Preschool. Some of my hobbies are hiking, gardening and playing the piano."
