ZEDVEST
Zedvest is a FinTech product that promotes financial literacy. Not only does it allow users to save and pay bills, Zedvest takes finance management a step further by providing insight and financial analysis in ways that are easy to understand.
The Goal
This product is designed to help people take control of their money. However, after noticing the level of financial illiteracy, my duty as the Content Designer was to approach this educational work without sounding like actual teaching. To achieve this, I did the following;
Use inclusive words
Offer commendation and ego boosts
Present informative content as graphics, images and videos instead of old cold boring text.
How I Helped
User research: Finding out the knowledge level of our users which then influenced the content on the user interface, by helping us determine what kind of features they would be looking for in an app like ours. It also helped determine what form of content would work best to communicate our message.
Content Strategy: Worked with the designer in creating our tone and voice, user persona, information hierarchy and user journey.
UX Writing: Created the copy on the on-boarding and home pages, as well as microcopy on the call-to-action buttons, with the goal of making the process simple and easily comprehensible by our users.
