All About Me

My name is Olayinka Oladeji and I am 47 years old. After graduating the from University of Houston in 2016, I became a founder and creator of a nonprofit organization “KidsRKreative”, which is a play and crafts group for children that allows them to exhibit their passion for interactive activities. After that, I assumed a position at Baker Ripley Early Head-start School as a teacher. I am now an experienced Instructor with a demonstrated history of working in the education management industry. I refer to myself as a strong community and social services professional with a Master’s degree focused in Early Childhood Education, Advocacy for Young Children, Community Programs and Teaching from University of Houston-Downtown and University of Houston Clearlake.

My main objective is to ignite the creativity within my students by creating a classroom environment that is warm and conducive to learning while planning and implementing Developmental Appropriate Practice (DAP) prescribed by NCI curriculum. I am also responsible to develop and implement lesson plans that include daily routines, employing a variety of instruction techniques and media, screening, observing, and documenting progress in the assessment system, communicating regularly with parents and planning purposeful assignments for teaching assistants and volunteers.

At the moment, I am in the process of completing my Master’s program in Early Childhood Education/Advocate for Young Children/Community Programing at the University of Houston Clearlake. I am excited to earn my Master’s and grow in my profession as an Educator. I look forward to being assigned more challenging assignments, advocate for young learners, and become more involved in community programs.
