RACES writing is the strategy we use in class to write a short constructed repsonse (SCR) in the classroom. It is an acronym that helps students to fully address each part of a prompt and come away with a fully developed paragraph. I have attached some materials below for practice, if desired, as well as what the steps are. As always, students can bring their practice into class for feedback if they would like to.
