Here are some links to great places to find books! For the public libraries, you will need to find the library that is in the area you reside. The website will have information on how you can get a free card. If your library does not offer a free library card that supports checkout of electronic materials you can apply for a Houston Public Library card (https://askhpl.houstonlibrary.org/library-card/faq/358322) to use for electronic book check outs, such as Libby. You can also go to the Classroom Apps page to find links to read in RAZ, Newsela, Learning Ally, or HMH Ed.
** Please remember that many of these sites are meant for use by both children and adults. I do not endorse any specific books within these sites and ask that you use care and supervision when your child is using these sites and picking texts to read. You are their grown up and the decision of what they should be reading lays with you. Thanks!
