Reading is a great option for homework because it helps students become more fluent readers, while also improving comprehension, vocabulary, and spelling (Barker, 2024) . Additionally, many students find it very enjoyable! For homework, students can read any material they enjoy- comics, graphic novels, fiction, non-fiction, magazines... the choice is theirs!
