Wood Direction Signs
Six wooden direction signs have been added to the historic Pack Track at Mount Field. The signs and lettering were funded from a donation made by Melaleuca Walkers.
Included on direction signs are "you are here" signs and two information signs about the Pack Track. The information signs are shown below.

Post positions 1,2 and 3 will require a small bit of work additional to digging the post holes. Post 6 will also need some vegetation clearance.

Dirt and gravel has been pushed over the steps which are under here and needs clearing off
Below are photos of the actual spot for the signs and some work will be needed to get things a bit better
Also would be a good idea to put in posts close to the steps so that the grader is aware of the situation.

Sign best near the old log and rock top side.
Start of track may need some clearing and renovating to make better.

Some clearing of vegetation needed to get the sign close to the road.
A small fagus is there so we will need to see how that will be effected. If it is left it can be trimmed when it grows..
