2008: The First Officer Study Tour

The first group, led by Lt-Colonel Wilfred Arnold and Lt-Colonel Lyn Buttar, included the following participants: Claire and Glenn Anderson, Wendy Barney, David and Margaret Bateman, Denise and Stephen Crump, Janine and Robert Donaldson, Tanya Dunn, Andrew and Sue Hay and Garth and Suzanne Stevenson. 

The first couple of days went without incident. The long haul travel was…       ...well,...      ...long,..     ...but uneventful. After transit in Sydney, Singapore and London Heathrow, some 36 hours after leaving Auckland, we arrived in Greece.
