These pages attempt to document my travels in the New Testament world of the Apostle Paul.
The story of my journeys is bound up with another story, that of study tours for officers of The Salvation Army, New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa Territory. Inspired by my participation in these experiences, I eventually set myself the goal of visiting all the New Testament sites associated with the Apostle Paul.
The exact number depends on how you count them, but the New Testament identifies more than 50 such sites. Yellow pin marks in the image below identify the places I have been able to visit so far. The blue pin marks identify places yet to be visited.
(Note: Individual pin marks for some geographically close locations overlap and are not displayed. )
These pages are not intended as an official or comprehensive history of the official Salvation Army tours. However, if they do preserve some useful information for that purpose, that will be an incidental bonus.
Follow the links, or use the menus at the left, to read the unfolding story. An introduction to the Official Study Tours, which got me started on this whole exercise, is here.
If you're less interested in where I have been, or what I have done, and just want resources to plan your own journeys, then go straight to the Locations listing.
