Paul, under arrest and under Roman escort, stayed the night at Antipatris, while being whisked away to Caesarea Maratima as protection from the religious leaders in Jerusalem. This is the only reference to Antipatris in the New Testament.
I have not yet visited this site so the information below is gleaned from the internet. Prior to the Roman period the location was known as Aphek.

I haven't been here, so I have no idea how much of the site is relevant to the Acts narrative. I still hope to visit, one day...
