The Wesleyan Church of Uganda in conjunction with FOCUS On Uganda is developing a technical institute to train young people in income producing skills in a Christian environment.  This facility is being developed in the Namayingo District in southeastern Uganda along Lake Victoria where no other vocational training is available.  Dorms, classrooms and other buildings began construction in 2023.  Completing the first phase, so that students can begin training soon is a prime goal.  Initial courses in agriculture, construction, tailoring, and baking are designed to not only teach skills but also produce products that will raise funds for the school.  This will help those who have difficulty paying and help the school become self-sustaining.  

Contributions are needed to complete this facility including furnishings and equipment.  It's hard to comprehend how much this Institute is needed until you see the young people and parents who have little hope in finding support for their families.  They are hard working people who just need this opportunity.  You can make a difference in their future.  Please contribute today.
