Pastoral training has been a central need from the time the church was first organized. Three pastors left their families to spend 3 years in Zambia at the Bible Institute there. Global Partners of the Wesleyan Church developed a Bible Institute in Uganda and these three pastors are now training other pastors in a 27-module course that must be completed for ordination. These instructors take the training to Districts where the pastors live so they don’t have to leave their families for extended periods. Transportation costs and housing are challenges these instructors face during their training weeks.
