The Tuition Voucher Program allows you to take courses at Miami Dade College, Broward College, Florida International University or University of Central Florida without having to pay up-front tuition costs.
You must consult with a Training Fund representative before enrolling in a program to verify eligibility and approve your major.
Academic Requirements
A minimum GPA of 2.0 must be maintained.
All required coursework must be completed with a minimum grade of "C".
Courses taken as a Pass/ Fail must be passed with a "P".
The TUF benefit does not cover:
non-credit courses
the same course twice
a second degree at the same level
A new Tuition Voucher application is required each semester.
Please follow the checklist carefully. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
Provide the Training and Upgrading Fund with the following documents:
General Enrollment Form. Please complete all 4 pages.
Verification of Employment Form. Please include Employee ID number. A Training Fund representative will request employment verification from Human Resources.

Authorization for release of education records and picture identification. In effect for a maximum of one year. Please include a copy of your picture ID.

Degree Audit or Curriculum for your program of study. This is the list of courses needed to complete your degree. Your classes must be part of your program.
Unofficial transcript showing cumulative G.P.A. You must pass each class with a minimum grade of "C". Please make sure your name, school name, classes, program of study, credits and semester are listed.
School Registration. Please make sure your name, school name, classes, credits and semester are all listed.
Itemized School Invoice. Please make sure your name, school name, tuition and fees are all listed.
Next Steps to submit a Tuition Voucher application:
Email your application and supporting documents to your Training Fund representative.
After submitting an application you will receive an acknowledgement of receipt email. Please allow 24-48 business hours for a response.
Tuition Voucher applications with supporting documentation are processed within 7-10 business days of receipt.
If your application is approved, TUF will pay the college directly and you will receive a confirmation email.
A voucher document will be emailed to you after the semester begins listing the courses and approved amount the Training Fund will pay the college on your behalf.
