About

We design, implement, and manage projects that are central to the care of our community, land, and water. Below are highlights of our most recent projects

High Street Log Jam:

Muncie Sanitary District Administrator, John Barlow, and FlatLand Resources' founder, Phil Tevis, discuss the High Street Log Jam project progress and long-term benefits. This project required four permits varying from state to national levels to access the log jam. At its completion, the removal of the log jam improves water flow, reduces erosion, creates a safer waterway for river recreation. This project not only solved an issue ten years in the making, but put in place infrastructure to remove log jams without extensive permits in the future.

Project Blueways:

FlatLand Resources' founder, Phil Tevis, talks about Project Blueways through the Ball Brothers Foundation

Kitselman Trailhead and Project Blueways:

The Kitselman Trailhead project (page 8) and Project Blueways (page 10) were both featured in the 2020 Annual Report for the Ball Brothers Foundation. Both projects focused on river and trail improvements around the Muncie area. FlatLand Resources had integral roles in project design and management for both of these projects.
