PRESCHOOL PROGRAMS

The following preschool programs are designed for children who will be two years away from starting Kindergarten in August.

Tuesday & Thursday mornings Preschool Program (aide* only class) - 1 class teacher & aide

PRICE-$95/month

(with optional Wednesday program = $130/month)

OR

Monday/Wednesday/ Friday mornings Preschool Program (cooperative* only class) -1 class teacher & parent helper

PRICE-$95/month

Both preschool classes are 13 children to a class. Hours are from 8:50 to 11:40. These programs are designed as a stair-step process for Kindergarten readiness in which the children in the Preschool class typically move on to the Pre-Kindergarten program the following year. They have calendar time (this teaches math skills, time concepts, weather concepts, etc.), circle time (a learning time that incorporates music and Bible learning), snack time, center time (various centers are set up to encourage learning – art center, science center, home living, puppets, reading corner), individualized learning time with the teacher, and gym/playground time. The school skills that these classes introduce are shapes, colors, letter recognition, pre- writing, etc. These classes may also offer fun, educational field trips and activities within walking distance.
