The following pre-K programs are designed for children who will be one year away from starting Kindergarten in August.

Monday through Thursday mornings (8:50-11:40) Aide* only Pre-K Program – 1 class teacher & 1 aide

OR

Monday through Thursday mornings (8:50-11:40) Aide* only Pre-K Program – 1 class teacher & 1 aide

&

Monday and Wednesday afternoons (11:40-2:40) -- 1 teacher & 1 aide (contingent upon enrollment)

There are 16 children in each Pre-Kindergarten class, the teacher and an aide or parent helper. This class enhances the learning described in the preschool program. Children continue working on fine motor skills such as snapping, buttoning, tying, and buckling; knowing their address, phone number, and birthday; and demonstrating writing skills. When the year is complete, the child should be ready for Kindergarten and will celebrate at an evening graduation.
