Amanda Pennewell

Amanda Pennewell is a graduate of First Steps, as well as a former First Steps teacher. Amanda was born and raised in Jefferson City and is an active member of Concord Baptist Church. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Language Arts and Social Studies from College of the Ozarks in 2015. She returned to Jefferson City upon graduation and began teaching Kindergarten summer school at Moreau Heights. She also taught 8th grade Language Arts at Lewis and Clark Middle School for two years. She has a heart and passion for education, and is experienced in both management and Pre-K education. She and her husband, David, have twin toddlers, who attend First Steps.
