Here educators can find resources and information on using educational technology and multimedia ethically and productively in the classroom. Each page builds on key skills highlighted by the International Society of Technology in Education. Navigate through each section to build on knowledge and practice of the ISTE standards.
Our class educates all students, leveraging educational technology equitably to empower learners, develop engaged and informed digital citizens, seek out imaginative solutions, and communicate creatively with the global community.
Students will become empowered, aware, and imaginative digital citizens that collaborate globally, discern creative solutions to human issues, close the opportunity gap, and empathize with perspectives that differ from their own while exhibiting integrity in digital interactions to cultivate a peaceful digital and social world. This will be achieved by:
Capacitating educators and administrators to implement the ISTE standards in the classroom,
Engaging with the community to educate and empower families to support student use of digital tools, and
Transforming student learning in the classroom with educational technologies that inspire creativity and communicate effectively.
Hi! I'm Mr. Andre Firme, a kindergarten teacher and technology coach out of Central Coast California.
I would like to thank all of the instructors during my time at Grand Canyon University as well as my program peers who through feedback and guidance have made all of these resources possible.
