GENDER EQUALITY AND RACIAL DIVERSITY
We at Implenia believe in creating a diverse and fair working environment. Not only do we hire employees from a myriad of countries but we have begun to exponentially incorporate women in our workforce as well. As per page 66 in our sustainability report states, Implenia in 2023 has signed the UN Women Empowerment Principles or WEP for short. The WEP established by UN Women and UN Global Compact are based on international labor and human rights that recognize that companies have an interest and responsibility for gender equality and for strengthening the role of women.
EMPLOYEE WAGES
In addition we believe in fair and equal pay which is gender-neutral and is based on specific role positions. Where there are no collective agreements, we comply with the statutory minimum wage requirements. In 2022, Implenia had it's wage equality externally anaylzed by "Logib" the Swiss government's respected analysis tool. While taking into account personal and location-specific circumstances a slight pay gap of 5.3% was found in favor - of women.
YOUNG TALENT
we at Implenia have started offering the "Junior Construction Management Program" since 2022. The Junior Construction Management Program is a year long course to help the development of apprentices and students in the field of construction and prepare for becoming a construction manager or technical training.
