For the wayfinding map for patrons, the assessment involved a navigation task (see Introduction). Due to the nature of this assessment, no tangible sample work was produced by the learner. Instead, the assessment includes self-report questions asking whether the participants were able to find their desired location and whether they were able to do so in a self-directed manner. These questions are incorporated into the evaluation form. Below is a compilation of the participants' responses.
For the online course for staff, learners are tasked with creating an updated version of the wayfinding map based on a given scenario. Provided herewith is an updated wayfinding map in digital format, developed by one of the learners. For full functionality, it is best to access the digital map using this link submitted by the learner.
Moreover, at the end of the task, learners are asked to either self-assess or have a peer assess the map they developed. Compiled herewith is their responses with regard to their self/peer evaluation using the rubric provided in the course.
